The software operates on both Windows and macOS systems and offers a batch download function that allows users to queue multiple files simultaneously, reducing the time needed to collect large amounts of content. One of its primary use cases is converting streaming audio from music platforms like Spotify, Deezer, and Qobuz into local audio files in formats such as MP3, FLAC, WAV, M4A, AC3, WMA, OGG, OPUS, AIFF, and RA. The conversion process preserves ID3 tags (metadata including artist, album, title, and cover art) so that the downloaded tracks remain organized in music libraries. For video content, Allavsoft supports downloading from educational sites like Udemy and Lynda, enabling offline viewing of courses and tutorials.
