Anifusion is an online platform that allows users to generate manga and comic pages from text descriptions using artificial intelligence. It is designed for storytellers, writers, and hobbyists who want to create visual narratives without needing traditional drawing skills. The system provides a structured workflow that guides users through three main steps: choosing a page layout, writing or dictating the story content, and then making final adjustments before exporting the finished page. The core functionality revolves around a built-in layout engine that offers multiple pre-designed panel arrangements. Users can select from different grid patterns, such as standard comic grids, staggered panels, or full-page splash layouts. Once a layout is chosen, the user inputs text for each panel, describing the scene, characters, actions, and dialogue. The AI then interprets this text and generates corresponding illustrations. The generated images can be refined by selecting from various art styles, including options that mimic the aesthetic of popular anime directors like Makoto Shinkai, as well as color manga styles, black-and-white manga, and superhero comic styles. Character consistency is handled through a character management feature. Users can define and save character profiles with attributes such as appearance, clothing, and expressions. These profiles can be reused across multiple panels, ensuring that the same character looks the same throughout a story. The platform also includes speech bubble tools that let users add dialogue boxes directly onto the generated panels. Speech bubbles can be resized, moved, and styled with different shapes (e.g., thought bubbles, shout bubbles).
