Apache Superset is an open-source data exploration and visualization platform for modern data analytics and business intelligence. Originally developed at Airbnb in 2015 by Maxime Beauchemin, donated to the Apache Software Foundation in 2016, graduated to Top-Level Project status in January 2021. Used by organizations including Airbnb, Lyft, Slack, Twitter, and Neustar. Key features: SQL IDE: powerful SQL editor with syntax highlighting, autocomplete, and query history. Connect to any SQL-compatible database. Data exploration: no-code visual data exploration through intuitive interface. Create charts, filters, and dashboards without writing SQL.
