ASK Azerbaijan

The National Confederation of Entrepreneurs or Employers Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, known by its Azerbaijani abbreviation ASK, is the umbrella business organization representing the private sector of Azerbaijan, headquartered in Baku. Founded in 2004, the Confederation unites over forty sectoral and regional business associations and chambers of commerce across Azerbaijan, giving it broad representation across the country's private sector economy. The organization serves as the official representative of Azerbaijani employers in tripartite social dialogue with the government and trade unions on labor legislation, minimum wage policy, and occupational health and safety standards. ASK advocates on behalf of member businesses on economic policy issues including tax reform, customs modernization, business licensing simplification, state procurement transparency, and international trade negotiation positions. The Confederation maintains bilateral business councils with over twenty partner countries and organizes annual business forums connecting Azerbaijani entrepreneurs with foreign trade and investment partners.
