BairesDev Color Palette App is a browser-based color scheme editor designed for quick palette creation and iteration. The tool opens with a blank canvas where users add color swatches by clicking an add button, which appends a randomly generated color to the palette. Each swatch is editable—clicking it opens a color picker overlay with hue, saturation, lightness, and alpha sliders. The app displays hex, RGB, HSL, and HSV values for the currently selected color in a sidebar panel. Users can rearrange swatches by dragging them, duplicate colors, or remove unwanted ones. A built-in eye dropper tool (using the browser EyeDropper API where supported) lets users sample colors from anywhere on the screen. The app includes a gradient generator that creates smooth transitions between two selected palette colors, with options to adjust the number of intermediate steps and the easing function. Palettes can be exported as JSON, CSS variables, or plain text lists of hex codes. The tool is provided free by BairesDev, a software development company, as part of their community tools initiative. The app interface recommends landscape mode on mobile devices for better usability, indicating responsive design considerations. No account is required, and palettes are saved in browser local storage automatically, allowing users to close and return without losing work.
