ChatGPT Finder is a browser extension designed to organize, explore, and download files generated within ChatGPT sessions. Its primary function is to provide users with a centralized interface for managing various types of content produced during interactions with ChatGPT, including text conversations, images created by DALL-E 3, and code files generated by the code analysis tool. Instead of manually searching through chat histories or relying on ChatGPT’s limited built-in file management, users can install the extension on Chrome or Microsoft Edge and access a dedicated file explorer panel directly inside the ChatGPT web interface. The tool lists all creations grouped by conversation, allowing users to quickly locate specific outputs without scrolling through long chat logs. For example, if a user has generated multiple images in different conversations, ChatGPT Finder displays them in a unified gallery view, making it easy to compare or download selected images. Similarly, code snippets from different sessions are presented in a structured list, each tagged with the conversation name and timestamp. Users can preview files inline, rename them, or open them in separate tabs for further editing. One notable feature is the batch download capability.
