About this website

Crowdin is a cloud-based localization management platform founded by Serhiy Mytrofanov in 2009, headquartered in Kyiv, Ukraine, providing translation management, continuous localization, and crowdsourced translation for software applications, websites, games, and documents, supporting over forty file formats including JSON, XML, Gettext PO, YAML, Android XML, iOS strings, and CSV, with integration for GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, Figma, Adobe XD, and API access, adopted by over one hundred thousand projects including Minecraft, Discord, Reddit, and Duolingo for their localization workflows. The translation management provides a collaborative workspace where project managers, professional translators, and community contributors work together on translations, with features including translation memory for reusing previously translated segments, glossary for consistent terminology, machine translation pre-fill through Google Translate and DeepL, in-context editing for seeing translations in context, quality assurance checks for detecting common translation errors including placeholder mismatches, HTML tag issues, and length violations, and approval workflows with configurable review states. The continuous localization integrates with version control systems through GitHub, GitLab, and Bitbucket, with source strings automatically synced from the repository to the translation platform, and completed translations automatically pushed back as pull requests, enabling translations to keep pace with development without manual file exchange. The crowdsourced translation enables community members to contribute translations. The API and webhooks for automation. The screenshot tool with automatic string detection. The over-the-air content delivery. Designed by Serhiy Mytrofanov. Designed for product teams.
