Deno Deploy is a globally distributed edge computing platform for running JavaScript, TypeScript, and WebAssembly applications at the speed of the network. Now Generally Available, the platform is built on V8 isolate technology that delivers faster cold starts than container-based platforms, running code in 35 plus geographic regions worldwide with automatic global distribution. The platform supports every JavaScript and TypeScript framework including Fresh, Vue, Hono, Next.js, Solid Start, Nuxt, SvelteKit, Docusaurus, React, Astro, Remix, Vite, Express, and Node.js, with first-class support for incremental static regeneration, static site generation, server-side rendering, partial prerendering, and foreign function interface. Database integrations include native Deno KV key-value store with global replication, Postgres with Prisma ORM support, and MySQL connections. OpenTelemetry observability is built in, providing distributed tracing, metrics, and logs without configuration. The development workflow includes a tunneling feature for local development that exposes local servers to the global edge network, playground sandboxes for prototyping, GitHub-connected deployments with automatic builds on push, and a self-hosted open-source option called deployd for air-gapped or private cloud environments. Cron scheduling enables periodic background tasks. ISO 27001:2022 and SOC 2 Type II certified. Processing over 10 billion requests monthly.
