EchoMark is a security software platform designed to prevent and trace insider threats by embedding invisible, forensic watermarks into sensitive digital content. The system works automatically across emails, documents, and images, applying individualized watermarks that are imperceptible to the human eye but can be decoded to identify the specific user who leaked the information. This capability helps organizations detect the source of data breaches without relying on intrusive client-side software or altering the user experience. EchoMark operates silently in the background, requiring no installation on end-user devices, and integrates seamlessly with existing email systems and document workflows through its API. The watermarks remain intact even after content is forwarded, printed, screenshotted, or edited, ensuring robust traceability across various leakage scenarios. The platform’s primary use case is to protect confidential business communications, legal documents, financial reports, intellectual property, and internal memos. By embedding a unique, invisible identifier for each recipient, EchoMark transforms every shared asset into a trackable source of evidence. For example, when a company sends a sensitive contract to multiple external partners, each partner receives a version with a distinct watermark. If the contract later appears on a competitor’s desk or online, the watermark reveals exactly which partner caused the leak, enabling targeted investigation and accountability.
