Founded in 1944, the association provides members with regulatory guidance, sourcing intelligence, sustainability programs, and government advocacy on trade policy issues. FDRA operates the Footwear Distributors and Retailers of America organization, offering training resources, industry research reports, and technical standards development. The association hosts the annual FDRA Sustainability Summit and Footwear Innovation Summit, connecting industry stakeholders across the global supply chain.
