Flat UI

Flat UI is a curated online gallery dedicated to showcasing flat design inspiration, primarily featuring websites that adopt the flat aesthetic. The platform’s core function is to serve as a visual reference library for designers, developers, and creatives who seek real-world examples of flat design in web interfaces. The homepage presents a continuously updated collection of submitted websites, each displayed with a title, submission date, a view count, and a rating number (likely reflecting community feedback or engagement). For instance, entries such as “Lordicon Animated Icons” (from March 2021, with 590,163 views) and “Punkt” (from February 2021, with 593,442 views) illustrate the diversity of projects featured. Users can scroll through the gallery to explore different flat design approaches, color usage, typography patterns, and layout structures. The site also provides downloadable design resources. A dedicated section offers a “Flat UI Kit” – a set of pre-made UI components (buttons, forms, cards, icons, etc.) designed in a clean, flat style, which can be used as building blocks for rapid prototyping or final projects. Another resource is the “Flat Color Palette,” a collection of color swatches specifically selected for flat design, helping users choose harmonious and visually appealing color combinations. These tools are aimed at speeding up the design process without requiring designers to start from scratch. User participation is a key feature: visitors can submit their own flat-designed websites for consideration. The submission process presumably involves providing a URL and some metadata, after which the site administrators review and include approved entries in the gallery. This crowdsourcing model ensures the collection stays fresh and diverse.
