About this website

Flipbook is an infinite visual browser that generates every page as a real-time, on-demand image. Unlike traditional web browsers that rely on HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and hyperlinks, Flipbook represents the entire web as a continuous stream of dynamically rendered pixels. When a user opens Flipbook, they see a canvas where each “page” is a single image generated by an AI model. The user can type a query into the search bar or upload an image to start exploration. Once a page appears, clicking on any visible element—such as an object, a person, or a region of the image—triggers the generation of a new image that explores that specific element in greater detail. This creates an endless, branching visual journey where every click leads to a deeper or broader context. The underlying technology uses a text-to-image or image-to-image model that interprets the clicked area and produces a new visual composition. Importantly, all visible content, including text, is rendered as part of the image by the model; there are no separate text layers or overlays. This means that any text displayed on a page is actually painted by the AI, which can sometimes lead to imperfect or incorrectly placed words as the model learns. The developers note that this limitation will improve as the underlying models advance. Flipbook’s core function is to convert the concept of web browsing from a document-based, hyperlink-driven experience into a purely visual, spatial exploration. It removes the need for semantic HTML structures, URL navigation, or script execution. Instead, the user interacts directly with pixels: they can tap anywhere, and the system interprets that tap as a query for more visual information. This approach has several implications. First, it eliminates the distinction between content
