FlowGPT

FlowGPT is an online platform that enables users to engage in free-form roleplay conversations with a vast library of AI-generated characters. The service hosts over one million distinct character bots, each with its own personality, backstory, and conversational style. Users can select from predefined categories such as romantic partners (AI girlfriend, AI boyfriend), fictional figures from anime, games, fantasy settings, or real-world archetypes like celebrities, teachers, and family members. The platform also includes a prompt store where creators share structured instructions that guide the AI’s behavior, tone, and knowledge domain—covering areas like job hunting, academic research, business strategy, programming, marketing, health and lifestyle, image generation, and prompt engineering. The core functionality revolves around interactive chat. After choosing a character or a prompt, users can type messages and receive contextually relevant, uncensored responses. The AI models behind the site are designed to handle open-ended conversations, emotional support, creative storytelling, and scenario-based dialogues. For example, a user might simulate a job interview with an AI HR bot, explore a fantasy adventure with a villain character, or practice language skills with a friendly tutor. Unlike many chatbot services, FlowGPT allows unfiltered exchanges, meaning characters can discuss mature themes, use informal language, or engage in controversial topics as long as the user remains within the platform’s general terms of service. The platform also incorporates community-driven features.
