Hyperledger Blockchain Framework

Hyperledger is an open-source collaborative effort hosted by the Linux Foundation, created to advance cross-industry blockchain technologies for business applications. Launched in December 2015 with founding members including IBM, Intel, Cisco, and JPMorgan Chase, Hyperledger encompasses multiple blockchain frameworks, tools, and libraries. Key frameworks: Hyperledger Fabric (permissioned blockchain platform with modular architecture supporting pluggable consensus protocols, membership services, and chaincode smart contracts in Go, Java, and Node.js, designed for enterprise use with privacy and confidentiality via channels). Hyperledger Besu (Ethereum-compatible client written in Java, supporting both public and permissioned networks with PoW Ethash and PoA consensus algorithms including IBFT 2.0, Clique, and QBFT). Hyperledger Indy (decentralized identity platform with built-in support for self-sovereign identity, verifiable credentials, and decentralized key management using DIDs). Hyperledger Sawtooth (modular blockchain with pluggable consensus algorithms including PoET Proof of Elapsed Time, dynamic consensus, and parallel transaction execution via transaction families). Hyperledger Iroha (simple blockchain framework designed for mobile and web applications, written in C++ with Yachi role-based access control). Hyperledger Transact (library for executing smart contracts with a standard interface, decoupling transaction execution from specific ledger implementations).
