ICSC

ICSC, formerly known as the International Council of Shopping Centers and now operating under its abbreviation, is the global trade association for the marketplaces industry including shopping centers, retail real estate, and mixed-use commercial properties, founded in 1957 and headquartered in New York. The organization represents over seventy thousand individual members across one hundred countries including shopping center developers and owners, retail property managers, commercial real estate brokers, retailers, restaurant operators, lenders, investors, and professional service providers to the retail real estate sector. ICSC produces over forty events annually worldwide, with the flagship ICSC LAS VEGAS convention each May drawing over twenty-five thousand attendees and over one thousand exhibitors, making it the largest retail real estate industry gathering globally. The association publishes comprehensive industry research including retail real estate market data by metropolitan statistical area, shopping center sales performance benchmarks, and consumer foot traffic analytics that are referenced by retail executives, real estate investors, and municipal economic development officials making decisions about retail property investment and leasing strategy.
