LibreCAD is a free open-source 2D CAD (Computer-Aided Design) application for creating technical drawings, engineering plans, and architectural layouts. Originally forked from QCad Community Edition in 2010, LibreCAD is developed and maintained by a community of volunteers and provides a lightweight alternative to commercial 2D CAD software.
