Lucide Icon Library

Lucide is an open-source icon library created as a community fork of Feather Icons in 2020, providing over one thousand five hundred clean, consistent, and customizable vector icons in SVG format, with packages for React, Vue, Svelte, Angular, Preact, Solid, and vanilla JavaScript, designed as a drop-in replacement for Feather Icons with an expanded icon set and active community development, maintained by over three hundred contributors and adopted by companies including Vercel, Linear, and shadcn for their user interfaces. The icon system provides icons as SVG components with consistent stroke width, sizing, and style across the entire set, with each icon available as an individual import for tree-shaking to minimize bundle size, supporting customization through props including size, color, stroke width, and absolute stroke width for consistent rendering at any scale, with the SVG source available for direct embedding in HTML or use within design tools. The framework packages provide framework-specific components with the React package exporting named icon components, the Vue package providing SFC components, and the JavaScript package providing a function for creating icon elements from the SVG markup, with all packages supporting tree-shaking through individual imports and providing TypeScript type definitions for type-safe usage.
