The extension integrates directly into the browser and works on popular manga platforms such as MangaDex, MANGA Plus, WEBTOON, VIZ, Tappytoon, Toomics, GlobalComix, and Manta, as well as over 100 other supported websites. It provides real-time translation of text embedded in images, enabling users to access content originally written in Japanese, Korean, Chinese, and other languages. The extension supports translation into more than 100 languages, including but not limited to English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Russian, Arabic, Hindi, Thai, Vietnamese, and Indonesian. The core function is to recognize and extract text from manga panels, raw scans, or screenshots using optical character recognition (OCR) technology, then translate the extracted text into the user’s chosen language. The translated text is overlaid onto the original image in a natural position, preserving the reading flow and visual layout.
