Microsoft 365 Copilot Create

Microsoft 365 Copilot Create is a web-based AI creation platform that users access by signing into their Microsoft account. The main page displays prompt examples that users can click to get started: creating an elevator pitch, drafting a presentation, building an issue tracking table with color-coded priorities, and generating custom images. Clicking any example opens Copilot Chat with the prompt pre-filled, where users can refine the output through conversation. The platform links directly to Microsoft 365 applications: Word for documents, Excel for spreadsheets, PowerPoint for presentations, Designer for design assets, Clipchamp for video editing, and Forms for surveys. Each application has its own dedicated launch point on the Create page. Microsoft launched Copilot in 2023 as part of its AI initiative, integrating large language models including GPT-4 into Microsoft 365 applications. Copilot in Microsoft 365 requires a work or school account with a qualifying subscription, while some Create features are available with personal Microsoft accounts. The platform stores user-generated content in Microsoft's cloud infrastructure and adheres to the organization's existing Microsoft 365 security and compliance policies. Microsoft continues expanding Copilot's capabilities, adding support for more languages, additional file formats, and deeper integration with third-party services through plugins and connectors. Users access Copilot through web browsers at m365.cloud.microsoft, through mobile apps, or directly within Microsoft 365 applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
