Mobbin

Mobbin is a design research tool that provides access to a vast, fully searchable library of real-world UI and UX screenshots from mobile and web applications. It hosts over 600,000 screenshots sourced from more than 1,700 iOS and web apps and 400 websites, with new content added weekly. Users can explore these screenshots through multiple filters and categories, including screens, UI elements, flows, and text within screenshots. For example, a designer can search for specific patterns like “Profile,” “Wallet,” “Welcome Account Setup,” “Home,” “Subscription & Paywall,” “Login,” “Settings,” “Checkout,” or “Collections” to see how different apps handle these common user interface components. The platform also organizes screenshots into “flows”—complete user journeys that show the sequence of screens a user would navigate, from onboarding to purchase to settings management. Each flow can be viewed as a video, preserving the original transitions, micro-interactions, and animations, which gives designers an authentic sense of how the app behaves. Additionally, Mobbin offers a prototype mode: users can step through flows interactively by clicking on hotspots, simulating the actual app experience without needing to download or install anything. This allows teams to study user interaction patterns at their own pace, focusing on specific touchpoints or navigation paths. The database is searchable by text found inside screenshots, making it possible to locate particular button labels, menu items, or error messages across many apps.
