About this website

Nexu is an open-source desktop application that functions as an OpenClaw client for Feishu (also known as Lark), with additional integration support for WeChat, Slack, Discord, and other messaging platforms. The core purpose of the app is to allow users to bring their own API keys for multiple large language models—including GPT (OpenAI), Claude (Anthropic), Gemini (Google), and others—and use them directly within their existing chat interfaces. This eliminates the need to switch between different browser tabs or separate chat windows when interacting with different AI models. The application is designed with a strong focus on local data privacy and user control. All user data, including conversation history and model interactions, are stored entirely on the user’s local machine. No data is transmitted to external servers operated by Nexu, which means users retain full ownership and control over their information. This local-first architecture also ensures that conversations remain private even when using third-party AI services—only the actual API calls to the chosen model provider are sent over the network, while the rest of the data never leaves the user’s device. Installation is intentionally minimal. Users can download the desktop client for Windows (with support for macOS and Linux implied in the future) and simply double-click to launch. There is no command-line terminal required, no complex configuration files to edit, and no dependency on Docker or other runtime environments. The setup process is designed to be completed in under one minute. After installation, the user enters their own API key(s) for the desired model(s) and can start interacting immediately. Nexu integrates deeply with Feishu’s document, task, and calendar tools. For example, users can invoke
