OnDemand is a platform-as-a-service (PaaS) designed to let users build, deploy, and manage artificial intelligence agents within their own technical environments. The system is built on a retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) architecture, which combines information retrieval with language model responses to produce context-aware outputs. Users can start by selecting from a library of prebuilt agents that handle common tasks such as document analysis, customer query resolution, data extraction, or workflow automation. For those with more specific requirements, the platform provides a visual agent flow builder that allows non-developers to design complex agent behaviors by connecting logical steps, conditional branches, and API calls through a drag-and-drop interface. Each step in the flow can invoke a language model, query external databases, trigger webhooks, or integrate with existing business systems like CRM, ERP, or messaging platforms. The same builder also supports testing individual components in an isolated playground where users can experiment with different language models, prompt templates, and parameter settings to fine-tune outputs before going live. Beyond the visual builder, OnDemand offers a bring-your-own-model (BYOM) capability that lets organizations connect their own fine-tuned or proprietary language models instead of relying solely on hosted options. This is complemented by a bring-your-own-inference (BYOI) feature, which enables users to route inference requests through their own private infrastructure, keeping sensitive data within their controlled network.
