Photopea is a web-based image editor that runs entirely within a browser, providing a robust set of tools for editing raster and vector graphics without requiring any software installation or file uploads to a remote server. The application processes all data locally on the user’s device, using the CPU and GPU to handle files instantly. It supports a wide range of file formats, including PSD (Adobe Photoshop), AI (Adobe Illustrator), Sketch, XD, PDF, SVG, PNG, JPEG, GIF, TIFF, WebP, and many others. Users can open, create, edit, and export images in these formats, making it a versatile tool for graphic designers, photographers, web developers, and casual users alike. The editor offers a layered editing environment similar to professional desktop software. Users can work with multiple layers, each with adjustable opacity, blending modes, and visibility.
