Pinterest Trends is a free analytics tool offered by the social media platform Pinterest. It allows users—including marketers, content creators, brand managers, and small business owners—to explore and understand what people are actively searching for and saving on the platform. The tool draws on real-time and historical data from Pinterest’s billions of saved Pins, which serve as strong signals of user intent and emerging interests. By analyzing these signals, Pinterest Trends helps users identify rising and seasonal patterns in consumer behavior across dozens of product and lifestyle categories. To use Pinterest Trends, a user first selects a geographic region from a broad list of over 30 countries and areas, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Australia, Brazil, Mexico, Thailand, Korea, and many others. This regional filtering ensures that the trends are locally relevant. After choosing a region, the user can browse through trending topics displayed on the main dashboard. These topics are updated frequently and organized by categories such as Food & Drink, Beauty, Fashion, Home Decor, Travel, Health & Fitness, and more. Each trend entry shows a percentage change in Pin saves over a recent period (for example, “200% MoM” meaning month-over-month increase), as well as a label indicating the category where the trend is popular. Beyond the high-level trending topics, Pinterest Trends also offers a search function. Users can type in any keyword—for instance, “vegan breakfast” or “boho bedroom”—and see detailed charts showing the search and save volume over time.
