Prometheus - Monitoring system & time series database

Prometheus is an open-source systems monitoring and alerting toolkit originally developed at SoundCloud and now a standalone project under the Cloud Native Computing Foundation. It collects and stores metrics as time series data with powerful querying capabilities through its PromQL language. Prometheus automatically scrapes metrics from configured targets and supports service discovery for dynamic infrastructure. Alertmanager handles alert routing grouping and notification delivery.
