Rows is a cloud-based spreadsheet platform that integrates artificial intelligence to enable data analysis through natural language interaction. Unlike traditional spreadsheets that require formulas, SQL queries, or dedicated business intelligence dashboards, Rows allows users to simply type questions or instructions in plain English to manipulate and interpret data. The system connects to over 50 external data sources, including PDF documents, databases (such as PostgreSQL and MySQL), analytics tools (like Google Analytics and Mixpanel), bank accounts, and other business applications. Users can extract structured data from PDF files, import sales records, marketing metrics, financial transactions, or any tabular data, and then ask Rows to perform calculations, generate summaries, create cross-references, merge multiple datasets, or produce formatted reports. The AI interprets the request and automatically writes the necessary underlying code—often using SQL or Python—but the user never sees or touches that code. The product is designed for teams that need to answer ad-hoc business questions without relying on data analysts. For instance, a marketing manager can ask, “Show me the monthly revenue from the last quarter broken down by product category, and compare it to the same period last year,” and Rows will pull data from connected sources, process it, and present the result in a table or chart.
