Skillbox

Skillbox is a curated skill management platform designed to enhance the capabilities of AI assistants such as Claude, Cursor, Windsurf, and over 10 other major AI agents. It functions as a unified skills repository, currently hosting 81 practical, field-tested skills (as of version 2.4.0) that span multiple domains including AI meta-capabilities, business and analysis, content pipelines, development tools, Obsidian productivity, and visual/creative workflows. Each skill is a structured module containing specialized knowledge, workflows, tool integrations, and configuration files that can be instantly applied to an AI agent to dramatically expand its functional scope. The platform operates on two levels. First, the web-based Skillbox directory allows users to browse, search, and preview all available skills. Each skill is accompanied by detailed documentation, version history, and usage examples. Users can filter by category, popularity, or compatibility with specific AI agents. The second level is the Skillbox Studio desktop application, which acts as a centralized management console. Through Studio, users can install any skill from the web directory with a single click, pushing it to one or multiple target AI agents simultaneously. This eliminates the fragmentation of skills across different tools and environments. Key workflow features include multi-agent synchronization: a skill installed once can be deployed to Claude, Cursor, Trae, and others automatically. The installation scope is flexible — users can choose global installation (applying to all projects within an agent) or local installation (confined to a specific workspace), with a visual UI to manage these boundaries.
