Stable Diffusion

Stable Diffusion is an open-source text-to-image generation model developed by Stability AI, first released in August 2022. Unlike closed platforms, anyone can download and run Stable Diffusion on their own hardware, which has led to a vast ecosystem of community-developed tools, plugins, and fine-tuned models. The model is used in products ranging from consumer apps to enterprise creative tools, and has been instrumental in democratizing access to AI image generation technology. Stability AI also develops models for audio, video, and 3D content generation.
