StockStar is one of the earliest internet-based financial information and securities quote services in China, established in 1996 and operated by Shanghai StockStar Research and Development Center. The StockStar Quote channel provides real-time market data for A-shares, B-shares, warrants, mutual funds, and bonds traded on the Shanghai and Shenzhen stock exchanges. The market overview page ranks individual stocks by percentage gain, percentage loss, trading volume, turnover value, and intraday amplitude, allowing investors to quickly identify trending sectors and the most active stocks during each trading session.
