Stockvault

Stockvault is a free online platform that provides a vast collection of stock photographs, vector graphics, textures, backgrounds, and illustrations for personal and commercial use. As of the latest update, the site hosts over 146,000 high-resolution assets, all available for download without any requirement to credit the original photographer or creator. This makes it a practical resource for designers, web developers, content creators, marketers, educators, and hobbyists who need visual materials for websites, presentations, social media posts, print materials, video projects, and other creative works. The platform organizes its library into 14 main categories, including Animals, Constructions, Graphics, Industrial, Nature, Objects, People, Seasonal, Textures, Transportation, 3D Renders, Food, Business, and Abstract. Each category contains thousands of images, allowing users to browse by theme. Additionally, users can apply filters such as portrait or landscape orientation, color, shape, and date range (e.g., last day, week, month, or year). Advanced search functionality supports keyword queries and the ability to search by photographer name, enabling precise retrieval. License types are clearly marked: Non-Commercial, Commercial, and Creative Commons CC0. The CC0 license, in particular, grants full freedom to modify, redistribute, and use the images for any purpose without attribution. Stockvault also features a "Premium" section with exclusive collections that may require a subscription or one-time purchase, but the vast majority of assets remain free.
