Tempo is a code-first collaborative workspace designed to unify the work of product managers, designers, engineers, and AI agents within a single, real-time environment. Rather than relying on static handoffs between roles, Tempo enables teams to plan, design, and build software projects directly in a shared interface where every change is reflected instantly. The platform centers on a visual design tool that operates with live code context: users can manipulate layout grids (e.g., 8‑column or 12‑column systems), adjust typography (font family, weight, size, line height, letter spacing), control fill and stroke properties (color, opacity, percentage), apply effects and transforms, and set clip content behavior—all while seeing corresponding code updates in real time. This tight coupling between design and code eliminates the translation errors that typically occur when moving from mockups to implementation. Tempo supports version‑controlled collaboration through commits, allowing teams to track changes, review diffs, and roll back as needed. The workspace is structured around projects such as “Havn” (a travel listing app) with dedicated views for home, search, listings, wishlists, and trips. Each view can include a chat panel for contextual discussion, so feedback is tied directly to the component or screen being discussed. The platform also provides a component library—a reusable set of UI elements—and a user guide to help teams get started quickly.
