Terrateam

Terrateam is an open-source GitOps automation platform for infrastructure-as-code that enables teams to run Terraform, OpenTofu, and CDKTF operations directly within pull requests. Developed by Stategraph and licensed under MPL-2.0, Terrateam provides plan-on-pull-request, cost estimation showing dollar impact of changes (monthly diff percentage), approval workflows with multi-team gating (platform team, security team), and apply-on-merge execution. Unlike other Terraform automation tools, Terrateam is designed to be aggressively unopinionated: it adapts to existing repository structures whether pristine monorepo or chaotic multi-repo, and integrates with existing CI/CD workflows rather than imposing its own pipeline. The platform works with Terraform, OpenTofu, CDKTF, Terragrunt, and Pulumi, and provides plan output as PR comments with cost estimation details.
