TinaCMS

TinaCMS is an open-source Git-backed headless content management system that brings real-time visual editing to modern web frameworks, allowing content teams to see and modify their websites directly in the browser while maintaining a Git-based editorial workflow. Released under the Apache 2.0 license with over 13,500 stars on GitHub, the platform stores content as Markdown or MDX files committed to the repository, enabling full version history, code review, and rollback through standard Git operations. The visual editor renders a live preview of the actual website where editors can click to edit text, swap images, reorder blocks, and update data fields with changes persisted to the Git repository in real time. Block-based content modeling supports reusable components with TypeScript-typed schemas, validation rules, and custom field types.
