About this website

Uptime Kuma is a self-hosted monitoring tool, created by Louis Lam, designed as a free, open-source alternative to UptimeRobot and Pingdom. With over 62,500 stars as of 2026, it is one of the most popular self-hosted projects on the platform. Built with Vue.js (frontend), Node.js (backend), and SQLite (storage), Uptime Kuma provides a clean, responsive web interface for monitoring the availability and response time of HTTP(s) services, TCP ports, DNS records, Ping (ICMP), and Docker containers. Monitoring features include: HTTP/HTTPS monitoring with keyword search and JSON query (asserting specific content in responses), TCP port monitoring, DNS record monitoring (A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, NS, TXT, SOA records), Ping monitoring with packet loss and latency tracking, push monitoring (passive monitoring where clients push heartbeats), Docker container status monitoring via Docker API, gRPC health checks, Steam server monitoring, MQTT subscription monitoring, Radius authentication monitoring, and game server monitoring (Minecraft, FiveM). Notification integrations include over 90 providers: Telegram, Discord, Slack, Email (SMTP), Webhook, Microsoft Teams, Pushbullet, Pushover, Gotify, Signal, LINE, Mattermost, ntfy, Rocket.Chat, Alerta, and more. Additional features: status pages (public, customizable with logo and theme), certificate expiry monitoring, response time charts with Prometheus-compatible metrics, multi-language support (40+ languages), proxy support, 2FA authentication, and API token-based access. Licensed under MIT.
