Ventoy

Ventoy is a next-generation multi-boot USB drive creation tool with a fundamentally different approach: instead of reformatting the USB drive every time a new ISO is needed, users install Ventoy once and then simply copy ISO, WIM, IMG, VHD, or EFI files directly onto the drive. When booting from the Ventoy drive, a menu automatically appears listing all available images for selection. The tool supports x86 Legacy BIOS, IA32 UEFI, x86_64 UEFI, ARM64 UEFI, and MIPS64EL UEFI boot modes simultaneously on the same drive, along with Secure Boot compatibility. It has been tested with over 1,400 ISO images spanning Windows, WinPE, Linux distributions, ChromeOS, Unix variants, VMware, and Xen, covering more than 90 percent of operating systems listed on DistroWatch. Additional features include persistent storage support, Windows and Linux automated installation scripting, boot password protection, and a graphical plugin configurator called VentoyPlugson. The project is fully open source and free, making it essential toolkit for system administrators, IT technicians, and PC enthusiasts who frequently work with multiple operating systems.
