About this website

The National Cocoa and Coffee Board of Cameroon, known by its French abbreviation ONCC, is the government regulatory body responsible for the regulation, marketing and quality control of the cocoa and coffee sectors in Cameroon, headquartered in Yaoundé. Cameroon is the fourth largest cocoa producer in the world after Ivory Coast, Ghana and Indonesia, with annual cocoa production exceeding three hundred thousand tonnes, and is also a significant producer of Robusta coffee grown in the western highlands and central regions of the country. Cocoa and coffee are critical export commodities for Cameroon, generating significant foreign exchange earnings and supporting the livelihoods of hundreds of thousands of smallholder farming families. ONCC regulates the marketing of cocoa and coffee through a system of licensed buyers and exporters, monitors quality standards at export points, publishes daily producer and export prices for cocoa and coffee, and works to improve the competitiveness of Cameroonian cocoa and coffee in international markets.
