About this website
Cargo is a modern Go-to-Market (GTM) infrastructure platform designed for engineering-minded revenue teams. It provides a unified operational layer—spanning data, handoffs, and automation—that allows organizations to build, orchestrate, and scale their entire GTM motion as code. Rather than stitching together disparate point tools, Cargo offers a single system based on four core primitives: Agents, Tools, Plays, and Data models. Agents are autonomous or semi-autonomous workers that execute specific GTM tasks, such as scoring leads, sending personalized outreach, updating CRM records, or triggering follow-ups based on real-time signals. Each Agent can be configured with role-based permissions, run conditions, and failure handling. Tools are reusable functions that connect to external services (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, Slack, data warehouses) or perform internal computations. Plays are workflow blueprints that chain Agents and Tools together with conditional logic, loops, and timing rules. They support version control, canary deployments, and rollback capabilities, treating GTM processes like software deployments. Data models define the schema and relationships for customer, account, and opportunity data, ensuring consistency across all operations. The platform operates at three primary interfaces: a web application for visual building and monitoring, a REST API and CLI for programmatic control, and deep integrations with AI coding assistants like Claude and Cursor, enabling developers to create and modify GTM flows entirely through natural language or inline code in their IDE. Key technical features include run-level observability for every step, decision, and failure within a Play. Each execution produces a trace showing inputs, outputs, latency, and error c
