About this website

CasaOS is a free and open-source personal cloud platform that provides a simple, user-friendly web interface for self-hosting applications, managing files, and running Docker containers on home servers and single-board computers. Developed by ZimaBoard (IceWhale Technology, headquartered in Shenzhen, China) and first released in 2021, CasaOS aims to make self-hosting as easy as using a smartphone. Key features: one-click Docker application installation from a curated app store containing over 100 popular self-hosted applications including Nextcloud, Jellyfin, Plex, Pi-hole, AdGuard Home, Home Assistant, Bitwarden (Vaultwarden), Gitea, WordPress, Ghost, BookStack, Calibre-web, Transmission, qBittorrent, Uptime Kuma, Nginx Proxy Manager, and more. File manager with web-based file browsing, upload, download, and sharing via links, supporting drag-and-drop operations. Built-in terminal access for SSH-like command-line management. System dashboard displaying CPU usage, memory, storage, network traffic, and temperature with real-time graphs. Docker container management: start, stop, restart, view logs, and configure environment variables for any Docker container. Storage management: mount external drives, USB devices, and network shares. User account system with multi-user support and permission management. Network settings: configure static IP, DNS, and port forwarding. Backup and restore of CasaOS configuration. Samba/SMB file sharing for accessing files from Windows, macOS, and Linux. DLNA media server support. Lightweight: runs on Debian/Ubuntu-based systems with as little as 2GB RAM, perfect for Raspberry Pi, ZimaBoard, Intel NUC, and other mini PCs. Installation via a single curl command (curl -fsSL https://get.casaos.io | sudo bash). Open source under Apache-2.0.
