When a user saves a web article, Converse extracts its core content and generates a TLDR (too long; didn’t read) summary, which condenses the main points into a few sentences. Additionally, it provides a detailed summary that can reduce reading time by up to 80% while still preserving the essential arguments, data, and conclusions. Users can choose between a quick executive summary or a deeper dive into specific sections of the article, depending on their needs. For PDFs, Converse supports direct uploads, after which it applies the same summarization logic. The PDFs are stored permanently in a user’s personal library, allowing access at any time. For YouTube videos, Converse extracts the transcript and generates a summary of the video’s content. This is particularly useful for long educational videos, tutorials, or conference recordings where skimming through the full video is impractical.
