The application provides a clean visual interface for all core Git operations including fetch, pull, push, commit, amend, branch and tag creation and deletion, remote repository management, checkout, cherry-pick, revert, merge, rebase, stashes, and submodules. Advanced capabilities include a visual merge conflict resolver with a three-way diff view for resolving conflicting changes intuitively, interactive rebase that allows editing, reordering, and squashing commits through drag-and-drop before pushing, image diffs supporting common image formats including PNG, JPEG, and GIF for visual content review, a history view that finds all commits touching a particular file or directory, and a blame view that identifies the last commit changing each line. Single-line staging and unstaging enables precise commit composition by selecting individual lines from modified files. The repository file tree can be browsed at any commit in history without checking out, stashes appear inline within the commit list, lost commits are recoverable through the reflog, and Git-flow and Git LFS are supported natively. Recent repository access is available through a quick-access list, and commit messages from recent history are accessible for message reuse.
