Hang Seng Bank

Hang Seng Bank was established in 1933 and is headquartered in Central, Hong Kong. It is one of the largest locally incorporated banks listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (stock code 00011.HK) with HSBC Holdings plc holding approximately 62 percent equity interest. As one of only three commercial banks authorized by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority to issue Hong Kong dollar banknotes, Hang Seng plays a unique role in the territory's financial system. The bank operates over 260 service outlets across Hong Kong and offers a comprehensive range of financial services including personal banking with deposit and current accounts, wealth management and investment advisory for high net worth individuals, credit cards with reward programs, residential mortgage loans, personal loans and overdrafts, Mandatory Provident Fund scheme administration, commercial and corporate banking services for SMEs and large enterprises, trade finance solutions, and insurance products through its subsidiary Hang Seng Insurance.
