About this website

Keycloak is an open-source identity and access management solution that provides comprehensive authentication, authorization, and user management capabilities for modern applications and services. It implements industry-standard protocols including OpenID Connect, OAuth 2.0, and SAML 2.0, enabling secure single sign-on across multiple applications with minimal configuration. Users authenticate once through a centralized login page and gain access to all connected applications without repeated logins, with single sign-out propagating logout across the entire session ecosystem. The platform supports social login integration with providers like Google, GitHub, and Facebook through a simple administrative interface, and can broker authentication through external identity providers. Built-in user federation connects to existing LDAP and Active Directory servers, with extensible provider interfaces for custom user stores. A full-featured admin console enables administrators to manage realms, clients, roles, groups, users, sessions, and fine-grained authorization policies from a central location. Users get a self-service account management console for updating profiles, changing passwords, and configuring two-factor authentication including TOTP and WebAuthn. The system supports themes for custom branding of login and account pages, and provides protocol mappers and SPI extensions for deep customization. Clustering capabilities ensure horizontal scalability and high availability for production deployments. As a Cloud Native Computing Foundation incubation project, it is trusted by enterprises worldwide for mission-critical identity infrastructure.
