Medical Micro-Vision

Medical Micro-Vision is a nationally endorsed medical science popularization platform supported by the National Health Commission of China, jointly organized by the China Medical and Health Development Foundation and the Wu Jieping Medical Foundation, with guidance from the Chinese Medical Association's Science Popularization Branch and the Chinese Medical Doctor Association's Medical Science Popularization Branch, and produced by the Health Science Popularization Research Center of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences. This project serves as a sub-component of the Health China Action — National Health Literacy Promotion Initiative, and its content has been included in the electronic edition of the Encyclopedia of China. Medical Micro-Vision invites senior physicians ranked at associate chief physician level or above from Class A Grade 3 hospitals across China to produce video content explaining common diseases, frequent illnesses, and preventive health topics in accessible and jargon-free language. The platform covers multiple medical specialties including internal medicine, surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, and dermatology, with the stated mission of improving public health literacy and disease awareness throughout China. The project has been recognized as a founding member of the Health China New Media Working Committee, signifying its institutional credibility within China's public health information ecosystem.
