Oberlo

Oberlo is a dropshipping application designed to help entrepreneurs start and scale an online retail business without holding inventory. Integrated directly with the Shopify ecommerce platform, Oberlo allows users to browse a vast catalog of products from global suppliers—primarily based in China and other manufacturing regions—and add those products to their own online store with a few clicks. When a customer places an order, Oberlo automatically forwards the order details to the supplier, who then ships the product directly to the end customer. This eliminates the need for the store owner to purchase, store, or handle any physical merchandise, dramatically lowering the upfront capital required to launch an ecommerce venture. The platform provides a streamlined product import workflow. Users can search for trending or niche items by category, price, shipping cost, and supplier location. Each product listing includes high-resolution images, detailed descriptions, and pricing margins that the store owner can adjust. Oberlo also supports one-click editing of product titles, variants (size, color), and pricing to match the store’s branding. Once imported, products sync automatically with the Shopify inventory system, and any changes made by the supplier (e.g., price updates, stock availability) are reflected in real time. Order fulfillment is fully automated. When a sale occurs, Oberlo captures the customer’s shipping address and payment details (through Shopify Payments or other gateways) and sends the order to the respective supplier. The system can handle multiple orders simultaneously, track shipping status, and provide tracking numbers that are pushed back to the store’s order dashboard.
