phpMyAdmin MySQL Manager

phpMyAdmin is a free and open source web based administration tool for MySQL and MariaDB databases, written in PHP and released under the GNU GPL license. Originally created in 1998 by Tobias Ratschiller and now maintained by The phpMyAdmin Project team led by Marc Delisle, the tool has been translated into 81 languages and serves millions of users worldwide. As a web application requiring only a PHP enabled web server and a MySQL or MariaDB server, it provides a graphical interface for virtually all database operations without writing SQL. Key features include database and table creation, modification, and deletion with support for all MySQL data types including spatial GIS data, full text editing with foreign key dropdowns, import and export in SQL, CSV, XML, OpenDocument Spreadsheet, Excel, Word, PDF, YAML, JSON, and LaTeX formats, and query execution from manual SQL input or saved bookmarks. The SQL formatter beautifies queries, while the visual query builder enables non technical users to construct complex joins and filters. Database design view allows graphical schema editing with drag and drop relationship management. Server administration tools include user and privilege management, server status monitoring with query statistics and process lists, variable configuration, binary log viewing, replication setup, and stored routine management for procedures, functions, triggers, and events.
