Univerbal is an AI-powered language tutoring application designed to help learners overcome the common barrier of freezing up during real conversations. Unlike traditional language apps that focus on vocabulary drills or grammar exercises, Univerbal centers on immersive, spoken dialogue practice. Users engage in natural, open-ended conversations with an AI tutor across more than 100 real-world scenarios, such as ordering food at a restaurant, asking for directions, discussing hobbies, or handling a business meeting. The AI responds in real time, simulating the unpredictability of human conversation — including interruptions, clarifications, and shifts in topic — which trains users to think on their feet. The core feedback mechanism is instant and actionable. After each exchange, the app provides corrections on pronunciation, grammar, word choice, and fluency. For example, if a user mispronounces a word or uses an awkward phrase, the AI gently points out the error and offers a more natural alternative. This feedback loop happens in the flow of conversation, so learning is contextual and memorable. Users can also replay their own speech to self-evaluate and compare with the model’s response.
