WE United

WE United, formerly known as Women in Electronics, is a professional organization dedicated to empowering and advancing women in the electronics industry across North America. Founded to address the gender gap in the electronics and technology manufacturing sector, where women historically represent less than thirty percent of the workforce, WE United provides a platform for professional development, mentorship, and leadership training. The electronics industry in the United States employs millions of workers across companies producing semiconductors, printed circuit boards, electronic assemblies, and finished products, yet women remain underrepresented particularly in executive and engineering roles. WE United operates a corporate membership program involving companies such as TTI, Mouser Electronics, Avnet, Arrow Electronics, Sager Electronics, and Allied Electronics, as well as an individual membership for professionals seeking career advancement support. The organization hosts an annual Leadership Summit bringing together hundreds of industry professionals for keynote presentations, panel discussions, and networking sessions, and runs a mentorship program pairing emerging leaders with experienced industry executives.
