Croatian Wood Cluster

The Croatian Wood Cluster is an industry association representing companies in the Croatian wood processing, furniture manufacturing and forestry sectors. Croatia has a long tradition of wood processing and furniture making, supported by the country's extensive forest resources which cover approximately forty-five percent of the national territory, consisting predominantly of oak, beech and ash hardwood species valued in the European furniture and flooring markets. The Cluster brings together sawmills, manufacturers of solid wood furniture, parquet and flooring producers, and wood construction companies, promoting collaboration along the entire wood value chain from forest management through primary processing to finished consumer products. Member services include market information and export support for Croatian wood products, participation at international furniture and woodworking trade fairs, technical training for wood processing professionals, and advocacy on national forest management policies, wood industry regulations and European timber trade requirements.
