Glass Health is an artificial intelligence platform purpose-built for clinical environments, focusing on two primary capabilities: ambient scribing and clinical decision support. The system is designed to reduce the administrative burden on healthcare providers by automating the documentation process during patient encounters. When a clinician activates the ambient scribing feature, the platform listens to the natural conversation between the doctor and the patient, transcribes it in real time, and then automatically generates a structured clinical note. This note can be tailored to various formats including the History of Present Illness (HPI), Assessment and Plan (A&P), Progress Note, History and Physical (H&P), Clinic Note, After Visit Summary (AVS), Discharge Instructions, Discharge Summary, Patient Handout, Handoff Note, and Task List. The AI adapts to the specific language and workflow of each specialty, ensuring that the output aligns with standard medical documentation requirements. Beyond scribing, Glass Health’s Clinical Decision Support (CDS) module assists in differential diagnosis formulation. The clinician can enter a set of symptoms, lab results, or patient history, and the AI will propose a list of possible diagnoses ranked by likelihood. This feature draws on a large corpus of medical knowledge, including textbooks, peer-reviewed literature, and de-identified clinical data, to generate evidence-based suggestions. The clinician can further refine the differential by adding context, such as risk factors or exam findings, and the AI updates its recommendations dynamically.
