Moodist Ambient Sound Mixer

Moodist is a free and open source ambient sound mixer web application designed to help users create custom background soundscapes for focus and calm. The platform offers a library of eighty four distinct ambient sounds organized into categories including Nature sounds like river, waves, campfire, wind, rain, thunder, and birds, alongside Urban sounds, Interiors, Raw Noise types, and specialized audio textures. Users can layer multiple sounds simultaneously and adjust individual volume levels for each sound source to create personalized ambient environments tailored to their preferences for studying, working, reading, meditation, or sleep. Moodist features a clean modern interface with one click sound activation buttons and a master volume control, making it easy to quickly set up and modify ambient sound combinations. The project is developed as an open source initiative and accepts community donations to support ongoing development and maintenance of the platform for all users.
